Rag Rugs

We just took long scrap pieces of material and tore them into strips about 2 inches wide. We put 3 pieces of material together and taped it to the top of a table (to secure it) and braided it.

Once the pieces were braided we started in a circular fashion and "rolled" the braids to make a circular rug. We sewed the braids in this rolled fashion tucking it under, once we were at the end. It's like a swirl type of rug.

These are very simple to make and not very time consuming.
